Is it available to withdraw USD?
Gatecoin was notified by our payment service provider (PSP) that a series of outstanding transfer has been held up by their banking partner (BP) due to an unspecified compliance review. While we continue to work with the PSP to comply with the additional information requests, it is important to note as previously stated, the withdrawal service is still in the testing phase. As such teething issues in the process where also expected as part of the rollout, and we may encounter other problems that we could not foresee until a problem actually occurs.
We will keep you updated once we receive a clearer picture of the status of withdrawals from our banks.
Is it possible to deposit HKD?
No. As our deposit service is still in early stages of testing, currently we can only accept USD and EUR deposits. We will make an official announcement as to any status updates via our official Blog and Twitter feed. Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) withdrawal requests will only be enabled once the service is officially re-launched.

What if an urgent withdrawal of funds is required?
Euro (EUR) withdrawals have not been impacted and remain an option for the immediate withdrawal of funds from Gatecoin. Please be noted EUR withdrawal fees may vary depending on the nature of the transfer - i.e. SEPA (intra-Europe transfers) is EUR 5 or Non-SEPA (transfers to the outside of Europe transfers) is EUR 35. Should USD or HKD be required and you have an account with another exchange, you may trade your HKD balances for either BTC, LTC or ETH, and process a cryptocurrency withdrawal to that other exchange services.
Can third party withdrawals be processed?
No. At no time can or will we process payments to third parties. As a matter of policy, we only accept transfers to bank accounts containing the same registered name in Gatecoin, i.e., Funds from an individual account sent to a personal bank account under the same name; Funds from a corporate account can only be sent to company bank account under the same name.
Finally, as we are compliant with global anti-money laundering standards including but not limited to Financial Action Task Force (FATF,) and the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance in Hong Kong. We obligated to adhere to these standards, and can not accept cash deposits or withdrawals at our offices. Nor at any time will we accept or process cheques for the deposit or withdrawal of users funds.
